Why Lakon1
Laconia was the region around Sparta, and Spartans were famous for saying little. So famous that they became a word: laconic in English, lacônico in Portuguese, means brief, saying a lot with few words.
The best-known story comes from Plutarch. Philip II of Macedon, who already ruled much of Greece, sent Sparta a threat: if I invade Laconia, I will drive you out. The Spartans answered with a single word:

That's where the 1 comes from. One word was enough.
